Availability of workers and aging workforce paper
This assignment is based on using peer-reviewed references from the UOP library to research current topics.
Prepare paper of approximately 1,500-2000 words on two current human resources issues in US healthcare:
Choose 2 current topics that affect the human resources (the people) or human resources policies (the internal policies that affect the people):
- Examples include: availability of workers, the aging workforce*, social media and employees, the effect of minimum wage on healthcare.
- Use your experience to identify other current topics.
For each of the two topics use at least 2 articles from the UOP library – published within the last 7 years. *NOTE: If you choose the aging workforce, you must use references from 2012 or more recent.
In your paper:
- Provide an overview of the topic and perspective/information from each article,
- How the topic affects employees, and
- How it will affect the company and human resources policies and procedures
- (use these three as for your subheadings under each topic).
Helpful Hint – You will find it easiest to organize the paper the way the rubric is, discuss the first topic completely in one section, then discuss the second topic in
